Anita Berber or Anna Berber (1899-1928) was a dancer, actress, model, writer and prostitute. But specially, she was a symbol of sexual freedom during the Weimar Republic in Germany. She was provocative, a representative of the expressionist school and she was also a muse for painters like Otto Dix in the mid-20s of the 20th century. She became a reference because of her ambiguous style, because of her monocles and tuxedos, but above all, because of her groundbreaking way of moving, of living.
