Carmen Casado

Carmen casado self portrait

From her training as an interior designer at the School of Architecture in Madrid she still has remnants of her taste for art déco or her precise use of colors.

Carmen Casado (Madrid, 1985), also trained in textile design, is a promising illustrator who has already collaborated with fashion firms such as La Casita de Wendy or for media such as Lamono magazine or El País newspaper.

Fabrics, wallpapers, ceramics and, of course, graphic artwork are part of the creative universe of this artist - winner of the Third Art Hunter Contest of Gunter Gallery. Her style moves between pop and the intelligent illustration of Christoph Niemann, with a simple but direct chromatic range, where architecture has a weight and she transforms it into a two-dimensional object.
