It was the opening of a most anticipated store in recent years in Madrid. The Japanese firm Uniqlo landed in the capital of Spain and Gunter Gallery supported this event with a series of artistic actions. The most outstanding was the realization of a large mural in the center of the store, on tile, with daily scenes from the life of Madrid made by the artist Gonzalo Muiño. Also, this same Gunter Gallery artist made the designs of three limited edition bags that welcomed in a personal way all the fans of the Japanese house. The action was completed with a temporary exhibition with about 10 works by Gunter Gallery artists, including two originals inspired by Japan by Simmon Said and Mercedes Bellido.

Ten artists, curated by Gunter Gallery, painted during a week different shop windows in the neighborhood of Malasaña (Madrid) with ephemeral murals that preceded the great show #ParaMiraToca for Alhambra Beer. In this event Gunter Gallery organized an exhibition with its main artworks and coordinated an illustration workshop given by the artist Mercedes Bellido.

 

Gunter Gallery has participated in several editions of the Design Market in Matadero Madrid over the last few years. In each of them the gallery organized a large exhibition with more than 40 artworks that have dressed the walls of the cultural center where take place this market, one of the most interesting social and creative events of the city of Madrid.

The gallery was invited to the first edition of the Hybrid Festival, an art event that takes place in alternative locations. For that purpose it organized a large exhibition for two days in one of these spaces, Petit Palace Lealtad Plaza Hotel. During the event, open to the public, several guided tours were made about the graphic artwork of some of the main young artists who are represented by Gunter Gallery.

In the middle of Fuencarral street in Madrid, one of the commercial arteries of the capital, the artist Carla Fuentes, curated by Gunter Gallery, made a mural on the façade and the entrance of a Kiehl's shop. Fuentes compiled all the icons of the brand, creating a large illustrated pool that welcomed the summer.

For a week, Ron Barceló organized an ephemeral event with the participation of several Gunter Gallery’s artists, such as Coco Dávez or Aitor Saraiba, who gave workshops with different topics. Likewise, the gallery organized a show in the space with artworks of its main artists, from BoaMistura to Ricardo Cavolo.
